Very nice homey like atmosphere. Went on a Sunday morning, packed but worth the wait. I had the machaca with eggs. Green sauce, yellow bell peppers, onions and cheese. Tortillas are fresh and can be eaten as a meal.

Sorry Ozempic, the food here is just too great to lose weight. I especially loved the bistec ranchero. This may supplant TJ Oyster Bar as my joint.

Came here extra early on a Saturday with a girl friend so that we wouldn't have to wait too long. We didn't get there early enough at 9:10 we put out names on the list and were told 20-25 minutes which really ended up being about 45. But well worth the wait! I was surprised to see they had a mente cristo, my all time fave breakfast meal. I ordered that with no ham and they were ok with the change. Food prep was quick and delicious! The place inside is pretty spacious, with all the casa azul-like plates and ceramics as decor. So cute!

I came here for brunch with some friends and we LOVED it! We got there right when they opened and were promptly seated. The place filled up QUICK so definitely recommend getting there early on weekends. The cafe de olla was delicious!! And I appreciated that they always made sure my mug was full. We all got mimosas, $5.50 for a glass, not bad! And the mimosas were generously poured, perfect ratio of champagne to juice. We all got chilaquiles and loved it. I got the chilaquiles divorciados so I could try 2 sauces, the mole and the green salsa. Both were delicious. Service was very friendly. The inside is very cutely decorated, lots of beautiful blue accents.

Talk about a humble family providing homemade food. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming (except one server) who we won't let ruin the experience we had. Besides her, the food was delicious. Beautiful decor. Come early as they get real busy and they also close early.

Breakfast was a hit!! This place is fully authentic mexican food. Throughly impressed with the decor and service. The wait was long I have to warn you to be patient. The wait is well worth it. Food came quick once we were seated. My teen also raved about the food. If anyone knows teenagers they are hard to impress. We started off with fresh banana smoothies and cafe de la olla. Next we got the best queso fundido. It was once of the biggest orders I've had. Lots of choizo and Rajas. They did not skimp on the serving size. We shared an order of chilaquiles. Let me tell you these stayed crunchy to each bite. The flavors were outstanding. Creamy full of flavor food that did not disappoint. Our neighbors next to us raved about the espadana omelet. That will be next !! Give this place a try.

Delicious food but at a price. If you're in the mood for some delicious authentic Mexican breakfast/brunch, this is your place. The food is amazing and well priced compared to other similar locations. If you decide to eat here you're going to have to be mentally prepared to experience long wait times to be seated and to get your server to make eye contact after you've ordered. We arrived at 11 am on a Sunday and waited until 1145 to be seated. The inside is a little compact but its adorned with talaveras and other cute trinkets. Personally, i would like to see more trinkets displayed to give it more ambience. It was pretty warm in there and the AC seemed to be struggling. My only gripe with this place is that we were thirsty and getting our server's attention was difficult. She was incredibly busy and both my partner and i are introverts so it was a little stressful trying to get her attention. We just wanted a refill on our coffee (free refills btw) and water. ***i suggest management consider placing a water jug on each table and perhaps someone just in charge of refills or giving utensils (She forgot to give us utensils) walking around to help the servers. We ordered the chipotle and poblano chilaquiles with shredded beef. The beans were magical. The shredded beef was moist and flavorful and the potatoes were beautifully goldened to perfection. We also ordered 2 cafe de ollas totalling 48 dollars (no tip included). Ultimately, the wait is 100% worth it. I left feeling so satisfied. Parking is a mess but you can always find parking on the street. Pro tip: On Sundays, there is a farmer's market across the street. If you're given a wait time of over 30 min, go for a stroll.

Awesome brunch spot in CV! They have plenty of tradition Mexican breakfast style options too choose from. It can get busy since they're only open until 2pm so you might have to wait to get seated but I'd say it's worth it. The place is nice a clean and the staff is really friendly.
